Health Care
_____________________________________ The Church is running a clinic that is providing health services to over 300 to 400 patients monthly. It is called the MZB Church Health Center (CHC). The health center has been relocated thrice and has a team of trained health workers to include a Medical Doctor, Physician Assistant, Nurses, Laboratory Technician, etc.
The clinic also provides health services for students of academic school and trainees at the Community WomenTraining Center (CWTC) whenever they get sick whilst at school. Drugs for the clinic are provided by the local church, partners and fees collected. The clinic has been operating since 2001.
The health center is a part of the Mobile Missions: 'Mission On The Move' outreach team that provides free on-the-spot medical treatment to needy people in target communities of the program interspersed by spiritual intervention. This is necessary when one considers that the World Health Organization (WHO) defines health as a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of diseases or infirmities.
