Organizational Structure

The New Water in the Desert Assembly (NWIDA) is congregational in structure. It meets annually to review activities and set agendas and has a Church Board which assists the Pastor in the spiritual and physical matters of the church. The board operates in the absence of the annual general meeting. The Office of Church Pastor (CP) is conducted by a ChurchAdministrator and includes a Church Finance Office and other support staff. On a day-to-day basis, they coordinate and report on the work of the various offices, programs and departments of the church. The departments of the church are divided into two main categories: association or membership departments and program or project-executing departments.

The association departments include the Ladies, New Membership, Sunday school, Youth and Brotherhood while programs executing departments include Health, Relief & Development, Education, Church Health Fund (CHF), Church Planting and Maintenance Fund (CPMF), Missions,Peace Commission, Church Transport, Church Prayer Team (CPT), Evangelism, Church Missions Management
(Logistics), etc.

The Church Leadership Meeting (CLM) is held monthly while regular meetings of operational or project executing departments are conducted. CLM meetings are chaired by the pastor while operational meetings are sometimes chaired by the church Administrator or another senior leader of the church.

NWIDA is an affiliate of the Fellowship of Apostolic Pentecostal Assemblies (FAPA), a more than 25-church-and-preaching-point consortium with purpose to plant and maintain churches and strengthen the bond of friendship amongst its membership.

The church office includes the Logistics department, which is dubbed as the Church Missions Management (CMM). The CMM is responsible to maintain security, assets and facilities on campus and keep records of all such transactions. CMM has three units Security Guards, Maintenance and Logistics. It is headed by a Manager and assisted by three deputies including a Clerk.

The Church Transport Committee closely works alongside the Church Finance Office (CFO). The 5-man committee is responsible to administer the church's commercial transport system established to help raise funds to support church programs and provide employment for church members. The CFO also works closely with the Church Finance Committee (CFC) which is intended to help guide financial transactions of the church.
